Alfred T. Stewart, owner, has worked with Acer Landscape Services for over 10 years after graduating from Tennessee Tech with a Horticulture degree. He has a lovely wife, Erin and a three-year old son named Thompson (plus Harvey, a 70lb. Golden Doodle). Born and raised in Nashville, Alfred enjoys hiking, skeet shooting, time on the lake, and making homemade pizzas every Friday with his family.

Family history
Alfred A. Stewart (Alfred Sr.) moved to Nashville in 1981 to start a landscape company with an old F250, some shovels and a wheelbarrow.
Since then he has established his own path in establishing family roots and has called Nashville home ever since even though his family roots go back over 200 years of being residence in the Nashville area.
Alfred Sr. has a lovely wife named Julia and two sons named Alfred and Jeremy.
Son Alfred decided to follow in his father’s foot steps and study Horticulture in college. He has worked part time at Acer since he was 13 during the summers digging holes, working on machines, and running crews in the field. In 2018 son Alfred (Alfred T.) purchased Acer from his father and still owns 100% of the company to this day.
Alfred Sr. is still involved in material/plant purchasing on a daily basis and spends a majority of the time at home with his wife cutting stones and making jewelry as a hobby.
